HeroBox is a fantastic nonprofit organization located in Georgia that sends gift boxes to military personnel around the world. I was hired to help them overhaul their existing website, establish a more uniform and engaging brand, and build on a platform that allowed them to manage content creation in-house. I built the initial content management system using ExpressionEngine, but eventually brought in a developer to clean up my code and handle more complicated programming. I also hosted this site on my server. This was the second iteration of their web site and was active for many years before eventually migrating to Squarespace .
